@Russ-Van-Dine Looks great. I would struggle with this too. Doesn't look easy at all.

@Russ-Van-Dine I like the scene and the dinosaur and bike look great, but the face seems so cookie cutter. It's a caricature in everything except the face. I would try to make his expression match the scene and start pushing the features to make it more caricature like and thereby more interesting. If you haven't already I'd check out the book "The mad art of caricature" which teaches some great concepts.

@HollyOakley Thank you. I have tons of pictures of people and the tough thing is capturing their likeness.

@Gary-Wilkinson I know the mad art of caricature very well. Somehow I actually have two of the same book. I find people with strange faces to be easier to caricature and capture a likeness than the pretty people. I must have done 35 sketches of his face to even start to capture his likeness. Part of caricature is capturing their likeness and also exaggerating something about them... I will get there. I am just happy now to capture a likeness. I also cheat and look for what other people have done to caricature the person and CP didn't have many that were any good at all. I'll take cookie-cutter, it is a step in the right direction.

@Russ-Van-Dine My suggestion is to turn the head a little so that you are less face on, this then helps to capture the nose and structure of the face.
Also you could treat this at caricature step one and just push the same features a little more, and then again a little more. Yo will probably feel like the caricature is more of what you want. I recognised the face immediately.
I think it's about picking out what's the most distinguishing feature and pushing that and then even the rest of the details can then be minimised, but you would still get who it was.
And yes, you have achieved a lot in this drawing.

Nice sketch. I am currently working on a caricature of my daughters. The interview with Tom Richmond just posted today as well from 3 Point Perspective. Gonna have to listen to that on my way to work.
