Up up and away! My superhero wips

@Asyas_illos Fit is definitely a big part of the battle on the character sheets, but you might reorganize the positions to tell the story of her power:
i.e. Your current bottom right power looks like she has found a struggling plant. Maybe that could go first? Then the other poses are showing her healing/having healed plants?
-
@KevinTreaccar it’s not really meant to be a sequence I’ll have a different plant pretty much in each one, but thanks for the feedback! And yes fit is always a pain!
-
A little progress
-
@Asyas_illos I really love the concept of a superhero who is able to bring nature back to life. Definitely something we desperately need today; looking forward to your finished sheet!
-
@JQ thank you! I agree!
-
@Asyas_illos this is looking adorable. I love her pink hair and your scratchy style. it's very unique
-
@Nyrryl-Cadiz thank you it’s ever evolving lol
-
Before I Get carried away with details is my concept reading well? Also is her collar to jester-like? I was going for petals…
-
Update: I’m really having fun designing this cape!
-
Love it @Asyas_illos!
-
@Jeremy-Ross thank you!
-
I’m wondering if the designs on the cape are too much? Also, again, is my concept coming though ok?
-
Okay I think I’m ready to condense some layers and rearrange and adjust the sizes. Does anything stand out that I might have overlooked? -
Ill probably do a little more detailing but this is pretty much done
-
So I’ve started working on another concept for a second superhero, I wanted to do one that has octopus like powers. No bones can squish into the smallest of spaces, maybe some camouflage aspects? Here are some pictures of things that I am drawing inspiration from.
it’s going to be difficult though I know. I’m already fighting this one with character consistency
-
@Asyas_illos That's a clever idea!
-
@Kim-Rosenlof can’t take all the credit my kids helped with the concept
-
@Asyas_illos I think this is a great idea as well! Any more progress on him? It’s funny, my daughter came up with my superhero concept!
-
@Asyas_illos I love your characters! They are so cute and lively! I noticed in the beginning of this thread you mentioned you hadn't heard about the specifics of this challenge. There are some listed on the current challenge page. This is what it says:
Every entry must have 5 color drawings on ONE page:
1 neutral pose front, 3/4 view
1 neutral post back, 3/4 view
1 walking or running pose
1 superhero action pose
1 close up of face
I'm not sure how strict they are going to be on keeping to these specific poses! I'm also not super sure about what "neutral" means. Just relaxed? But anyway, you might want to check your designs and make sure they conform to the entry rules!
