Palette critique/suggestions requested, please

Hi Friends,
I'm working on a social media banner for a friend. I would be grateful if anyone has a moment to provide palette feedback and suggestions. Thank you in advance.

@jenn hi Jenn I think this is a really cute concept! Here are a few ideas. I don’t think you need the reflections of the buildings they muddy up the water too much which brings me to my next thought. If you pulled the children down out into the water more they could have a much clearer silhouette. I did a quick draw over to give you an idea. But then again I don’t know if there will be text or where it might be so it might not work for you. Hope this was helpful!

@Asyas_illos thanks for taking the time to do the draw-over, that was very helpful! Also it makes sense that they kids are further forward, now that you did that, the perspective works better. BTW congrats on having another top 16!!
