critique arena but not a member?

Hi folks!
You used to be able to submit to critique arena even if you weren't an active SVS member. The top 16 would be chosen from subscribers, but you could still submit even if you weren't subscribed.
Now it appears you must be a member to be able to submit at all? Once logged into SVS all it says is this:
however, under the "who can enter" tab it says you don't have to be an active subscriber.
Is this a bug? Feature? Help?

@braydin-hawlette it's been this way since the time I started submitting to critique arena a few months back. Maybe non-subscribers now can only post in the forum thread?

Huh, that’s odd. It must be a bug because it still says anyone can submit, subscriber or not. I’d email support about it.

I know they are working on making some changes to Critique Arena. Maybe this is one of them, and the changes just haven't made it into the instructions yet? I would definitely email support about it.
