Remember the super hero prompt? I did not complete it, but I'm revisiting it. Here is one of the images for my character sheet. I'm trying out digital art on Photoshop with my Christmas present/anniversary gift šŸ™‚ Any constructive thoughts/tips appreciated... I usually work traditionally!

@Frogpunzel First off, great colour scheme! The blue suit with the yellow/blonde hair really pops.

For critique I have 2 pieces of advice.
        • I noticed that the shoulders do not look wide enough. This could be from trying to fit the size of the canvas, and if so, I would suggest using a larger canvas size (easier to change with digital, yay!), complete the drawing of the body, and then crop to the canvas size that you think frames the subject best.
        • The second thing also has to do with the shoulders, and how the seem too relaxed for hanging upside down (assuming that the subject is hanging onto something by her hands).
If that is the case, then I would suggest doing a gesture drawing, and building off of that.
Stan Lee's book "Drawing Comics the Marvel Way" and the behind the scenes videos from the making of "The Incredibles" are really helpful for this (or at least I've found).

Keep practicing, though! Photoshop, and a tablet are tools and tools take time to master. All the best!

@JoshSchouwstra Thanks so much, I will check those out! And now that you mention the shoulders I can definitely see it!
