Reference for underside of a vintage car?
-
Hi! I'm trying to draw a (very generalized) version of the underside of a vintage car. It's a 1959 Fiat 500 Jolly Ghia, but the reference doesn't have to be that precise; any believable car underside from that era will do. So far I've just got axles .
I am googling every which way and can't find anything! Do any of you car people out there know of something helpful? Thank you in advance!
Tagging resident vehicle expert @Jake-Parker just in case!

@LauraA I tried searching for user manuals figuring maybe they had an illustration of the car from underneath but couldn’t find anything. It was a long shot.
However, I came across many YouTube videos of Fiat 500 enthusiasts restoring their vehicles. Maybe you can ask them to take photos of underneath? I’m sure they’d be more than happy to help out. Here’s an example of an Instagram account of an enthusiast.
Or perhaps the restoration services at the Fiat museum?

Here's a 1959 Fiat 600
https://www.classiccarliquidators.com/vehicles/17/1959-fiat-600I searched "1959 Fiat undercarriage" and found this site. Maybe if you poke around you might find a closer match. The site also shows the engine and interior of the car.
Hope this helps!

Brilliant! Sometimes it's just knowing the right word-undercarriage. Thanks!
Daniel, I finally did find a manual yesterday: https://500mania.wordpress.com/2008/10/09/la-fiat-500-d-2/
I think that between these two things, I can get the drawing taken care of. Thanks! And I know way more than I ever thought I would about vintage Fiats! (I own a Fiat, actually, but it's a humble Punto, not the adorable 500, and it's in that awkward tween stage .)
