@mag this is so fabulous I love it! My first impression (I'm viewing from my phone) is that it is all very light and around the same tone. Wonder if looking at it in grey scale would be helpful? It may just be my eyes and phone though and it also may be what you were going for but either way good work! 🙂

I would like to see suggestions of tress in the background and perhaps darken the fence so it doesn’t blend in with the snow. otherwise, perfect. A clear winner yet again haha.

@KaraDaniel thank you! You’re definitely right, it is a bit “pale”. I was struggling with colours a lot in this piece...

@donnamakesart thank you! Trees in the background are a great suggestion! I made the fence a bit darker and if I’ll have some more time, I might add those trees too!

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I darkened the fence a bit and even tried to change the contrast a little, but it’s not a big difference I’m afraid...
I’ll keep that contrast thing in mind for my next illustrations, and if I’ll have like a ton of time I even might repaint this one 😅
                We’ll see 😁

I've had two agents so far, and can't remember what the days are, but I have never had issues with getting paid from my agent, its more issues w getting paid from the publishers sometimes. The publishers can be slow sending money, and my agent has had to nudge them for that. I have had the option to have payments get split from publisher to me and my agent, but I run everything through my agency, because if we move, and I forget to change address or something I dont want things getting lost. It makes it easier to keep track, and my agency always emails me when payments come in and send a receipt for them. So for me this arrangement works better.
