Website advice

Hello All - I’ve been running my website on Weebly but find it a bit non-intuitive and clunky - and it’s loading super slowly. Does anyone have any leads on a clean design, easy to use, on hopefully and either free or very affordable website platform? I just want a simple gallery of images, white background, nothing fancy. Thanks!

@allysa I've been looking in to this lately too. I've tried 3 free websites and they've been incredibly awkward and messy (not including Weebly). Squarespace is an absolute delight to use, but I'm not ready to pay for a website when my portfolio is still so weak. So I'm tagging along here to see what others say!

I use PortfolioBox.net for all three of my sites. I'm very happy with them. They even have a limited storefront you can use.
On their Lite package, you can get a portfolio website for $3.50/month if you pay annually ($5.50 monthly). 50 images, 10 pages... At the Pro level (9.50/month annual payment) you can get/transfer a pre-existing domain name.
