@scotthigginsart thank you! I'm glad the joke comes across. It's hard to tell sometimes!

Really had fun with this one!

After some indecision and some overwhelm, im glad i started early and went with something simple and fun for me -
I had several ideas but ended up with this one
Here's the resolution looking poor again before you download the image. If anyone has any advice on this, I'd appreciate it. Of course it is just in this forum but still...

Couldn't resist the sea lol. Thought this was a fun prompt so I had to give it a shot.

@Jason-Crowley
Winner, winner chicken dinner. Love everything about it! -
Couldn't resist this prompt - Iβve been really inspired to take part after seeing all the great work and really useful feedback over the last few months. I wanted to set my scene in a murky lake but maybe itβs gone a bit too murky?! Anyhoo, it was great fun to create and try my hand at some underwater lighting.

@ruth love the colours and the story telling

I let this one stew for a while, so I think I will call it done. Fun prompt and I got a whole graphic novel story brewing for these characters. Will hopefully circle back to them one day and expand on it.

@Joshua-Chennault love your final rendering and the color palette!

@thomas-young I like your style

@Jason-Crowley ...Such a lovely illustration. I really get the sense that he lives here and the lignting/composition/focal point is nicely done (and jaws)

@AustinShurtliff I know I should know the answer already. Does May 1st mean 12 am May 1st, or does it mean by 11:59 pm on May 1st?

Ok, I wanted to participate in this since I've started lurking in here but I somehow didn't realize that May is almost here and silly me wanted to attempt a double spread in like three days Simply, it's not finished but I'd like to share it anyways. I enjoyed working on it, I'm quite proud of my work on it so far, it's my first time doing a double spread and although not finished and polished I managed to get it to... let's say somewhat presentable level at least I will finish it later. It was a challenge I will definitely make sure to start much earlier next time
Thank you for your time and consideration. -
Apologies for the double post -- this is the file I'd like to submit. This was done in colored pencil, pen, and gouache with some digital edits. Looking forward to feedback -- thanks!
