Hi friends, I almost didn't get to participate this month (my process is still very long and chaotic) but I'm looking forward to receiving feedback from Mr. Parker, Mr. Terry and Mr. White. 😊

Hey I think I didn’t post my first submission at the right place! My name is Sarah and I’m used to draw food.

I very nearly didn't do this months prompt until I got an idea just as I was falling asleep. So I had to do it. It was actually advantageous because in order to get it done really quickly it forced me to try a significantly looser style which was a massive challenge for me. I like to render and noodle away, often to my detriment. So it was a great learning experience to try and be looser. Anyway, this was a hard one, but I'm loving the entries so far. See you on the stream.

@MarcRobinson Brilliant idea!!!! I love it, especially as we go to comicon too 😃 how did this not occur to me? 😃 I love how it works even without the explanatory text, just a "comicon" bag would have been enough:)))))

@Oana thanks! I was in two minds about having the text. I'm glad it works without it too.

This was a little tricky one. I wanted to try middle grade illustration style.

Hi guys, here’s my submission, done traditionally in watercolour and ink on Arches paper (and put in the prompt in Procreate)
Not sure if it reads but the prompt was a bit tricky… have a lovely day, everyone!

@Nina-van-Ryn Wow! This is really good storytelling. Yes it reads perfectly: little girl processing grief.

@Reb-Erlik thanks for the feedback, I’m so glad it reads. I was going for this feeling when you think the world should stop but it just keeps spinning… admittedly a bit dark but many people know it I’m afraid… ❤️‍🩹

@annastenger thank you so much! I’m glad 😌… when you’re in your own little world it’s clear and obvious but you never know what other people make of it 😉
