-
Hi everyone! Here is my first submission to HTFYA All of your submissions are so amazing! I love seeing how everyone interpreted the prompt so differently
-
Here's my entry. I don't think I really managed to get the message through, but I thought the illustration became pretty funny.

@Arthur-Campling Hey Arthur, i like the art style here and it gives me old picture book vibes i liked in my childhood
-
Reuploading as I'm not sure the first submission went through First post on the forum, entry for Saying Goodbye
-
Colouring is still quite an endeavour for me! I think it's done... and still with some time left! And it seems I really can't do serious prompts

Question for any watercolor artists: I'm pretty new to the watercolor game, do you folks usually ink AFTER you paint? Or do you ink FIRST and then paint over it?
-
@nohdee Hey thanks! Tried out a quicker style then my usual tiny-brush-rendering-style
-
@Henry-Compton Nice piece! I did read that Peter De Seve first does a pencil-drawing, then paints an undertone (like burnt umber) and then he draws with ink, paints some more, and then draws again with ink. I've got a guide from him that I can send to you if you would like?
-
@Arthur-Campling Wow, thatโs such an interesting process, I didnโt expect that. Yea if you sent me that guide, Iโd appreciate it a lot!
