New SVS website questions
-
@Lee-White Thanks for responding and letting us know! I have been a long-time subscriber with no gaps (January 2018). I hope that I didn't lead anyone astray with my last post, I was just letting people know what I had been told in my email. I just didn't want anyone to lose their grandfathered rate if they moved up a tier and wanted to move back down to the middle in the future. You explained everything really well. It is good to know that everyone at SVS is willing to work with us. It is very generous and I appreciate it!
I am excited for all the great things to come with the Studio Level! -
@AthenaBeana Hi! Just want to let you know that the invite emails have gone out, so you'll want to use the link in that email to access your new account
The subject line of the email is: Your New Account Is Here! Check out the new SVSLearn Community
Lemme know if you run into any issues logging in, you can email me at lisa@svslearn.com Thanks for your patience!!

@BetsyElam Hi there! Just to clarify, you will still have access to CBPro / SPPro/ HTFYA in the new community, but we are still in the process of moving it over Hopefully they'll be up in the next couple weeks, we'll keep you posted!

Question about those of use that didn't have a subscription at the time of the new site going live. Will my account be ported over? If not, do I have to make a new one on the new site? If so, will anything I've purchased be available to me on a new account (CB Pro and Jake's Comic Workshop that took place back in July)?
-
@Lee-White Thanks, Lee! I'm sure you guys are dealing with a lot today. But that makes sense.
I tried all day yesterday to log in so I could join, but the site kept telling me my credentials were invalid. The idea was to be to be logged in when I joined and have a smoother transition, but maybe that wasn't necessary, or even possible at that point. This morning I tried to click the link in the general "we're open" email to join, but still couldn't log in, so maybe I'll try joining first and hope I get the email that went out last night. I trust that whatever mistakes I make will all comeout in the wash.
Look forward to seeing you on the other side!
P.S. Edited to say that I figured out the code thing. I was having a dyslexic moment!

@LisaF I didn't have any problems logging in! Thanks Lisa!

@Joshua-Chennault Hi. I am wondering about that too. I brought childrensbook pro a while back and am not a paying subscriber at the moment. But I think I read lee answering this question saying that it will be moved over to the new site regardless of membership status. I'm sure they will have considered this as it will affect quite a few people

@Julia-Hegetusch I got a reply back from an email I sent to support. Seems like they are in the process of moving over those classes (CBPro, Comics Workshop, etc) but will take a few weeks. Only after they are moved would I receive an email to access a new account on their new system. I think I read that email right.
If that email is correct, kinda bummed to miss out a few weeks.
-
@Joshua-Chennault oh, interesting. Thanks for the info. Hope it doesn't take to long
-
@Joshua-Chennault it shouldn't be too long. But it is a ton of stuff to move. Literally hundreds of hours of video
-
Hi! I am not sure I got everything right. I bought some classes some years ago, that I like coming back to from time to time. Will they still be available on the new site?
Is the new forum free of charge? Or will it be only accessible on paid subscription? I have no receive the invitation email and when I go to the new site, my email is not recognised.
Will the archive of this forum be available after 31.12.2024?
Thank you!
-
@Julia Not sure how often they check here anymore without a direct ping, but you might try emailing them at support@svslearn.com
They generally get back to you a bit quicker there with more questions on the new site.

@Joshua-Chennault thank you. I ll try that in a few days time if they don't answer already on the forum
