So awesome....have to say I'm a bit jealous I've never been able to do this....no matter how many construction lines and basic shapes I use....

@natiwata @natiwata Super nice Nat! This is so hard and you make it look easy - i have real trouble with this - i was wondering about the profile of the girl - i was wondering what she would look like with a more prominent forehead so i cut and pasted to see - i think it may look a bit more like the girl in the other views for me this way - looking forward to seeing where this is headed 🙂Attachment-1-16.jpeg

@Kevin-Longueil thanks! Subtle change but I like it!

Did some more practice with a crowd and fun angle, and putting Will's suggestion of drawing outside the frame to use. He found a gold nugget! Story starter.

love the angle for the hand. The dogs eye is a little under-done and I thing his paw on the boy would be more dramatic for a dog...great expressions throughout.

@natiwata Really nice image!! I think you should paint this one! If you do however, I would put the dog a little higher so his neck isn't cut where it is... That's the only issue I see with composition! Great characters 🙂

@natiwata This is progressing very well! I like the angle and your choice of having no kids behind the hand/gem. Between that and all the eyes leading it draws the readers attention right to the focus.

@NoWayMe - Thanks for the feedback, good catch with moving the dog up a bit.

@Russ-Van-Dine - I agree the dog's eye could be more pronounced, I'll add that when I paint it. I had tried his paw on the boy and didn't get it quite right, but perhaps I'll try it again, thanks for the suggestion!
