Okay I took on the Draw 50 things challenge, that took a long time! I'm not sure I followed the rules exactly for 50 things, but I drew over 50 different things. I would like to finish it and include it in my Lullaby project. This is for Goodnight My Someone from The Music Man, but reimagining the song for a lullaby instead of a love song. Any feedback would be great. There is no way I could have taken this on before all these SVS classes. Oh and I don't know if I could have done this without doing it digitally, I mean I could have but I might have gone crazy. Being able to resize things so easily is great! still getting used to the ipad pro.

I love that part about Photoshop too, the playing around and resizing part.
I am having trouble with some of your perspective. For example, the top of the chair seat and the top of the crib mattress have a fairly steep angle of perspective, but the baskets sitting on the floor next to the crib do not. I think if you draw your perspective lines on another layer overtop of this image you'll be able to adjust that fairly easily. Way to push yourself on this, it's quite a challenge. I haven't timeto do it myself now but I'm keeping it in mind for when I do.

Okay I'm trying to figure out my values, and this was my initial idea, from my thumbnail stage, but I don't think it is reading very well. Do you think I should change the mama to be in profile or should I use this one that I quickly did? Is this second one working better? I wanted to have lighting from a lamp and from some moonlight.

I think the second works better. The first one my focus is on the room more then the mother. In the second the light brings her belly into focus more which I think is where you want it to be.

Beautiful composition! I like the second one where the light is on the mother. I really like the shadows on the wall in the first one though too....

@holleywilliamson I agree, I like the second one better. It has the "dark against light, light against dark" principle working well in it.
