Either one of these 😉 you may use my name btw. I don't have a website, but feel free to link to my instagram instead. I could always use the help.

The concept behind the first image is a little boy who wants to teach his pet dinosaur how to read

.the second image is about a lonely violinist who seranades a stray cat every night.

I'd love a critique on this one:
                0_1488988406476_tortoiseSVS.jpg
Feel free to use my name and website. 🙂

                EDIT:
Honestly my initial concept was just "Wouldn't riding a giant tortoise be AWESOME?"

But there are a number of directions I could have taken it. For example, I could have had the guy on him look incredibly bored or impatient and have other types of creatures streaking past. I think the concept I wanted to go for here beyond the initial COOL GIANT TORTOISE TRANSPORT thing was sort of "Joy in the Journey" (cliche as that sounds.) Rather than having your transportation be the sleekest, fastest, newest thing, why not have something that forces you to take your time? Why not get reading done while you're out running errands, when you can casually glance up between page turns to see if you need to steer in the next minute or two?

I hope I'm making sense, and that that even counts as a concept ;-). I'm looking forward to seeing the critiques, whatever images you choose.

This is very awesome thanks @will-terry-art here's my submission. I'm Ok with you using my name and website www.palacioillustration.com either way is fine with me thanks. I wanted it to feel like a horror movie opening scene. The viewer picks up that the guy in the boat is in danger even though he doesn't know it yet. 0_1488993479881_palacio_black_white.jpg

Seriously really great! I'm sure Will can give pointers and find areas of improvement but I just really, really like this!

                      Hi @Will-Terry
                      First: thanks for this opportunity!

Second: I'd love a (harsh as possible) crit on this. I feel very happy with certain elements but overall I don't feel it is a very successful piece.

Concept: Modern Western version of David (from the Bible) as a boy taking care of his father's sheep. Other pages had him teaching them and washing them, etc.

Here is a spot illustration I would love to have considered. This is a very generous offer and a fun idea! I can't wait to see your critiques. I always learn from them. You can use my name and my website is joyillustrated.com. 0_1489010016946_HeyerJoy 3pigs3.jpg This is an illustration for the story of the 3 Little Pigs. This is the moment after the wolf blows down the stick house. It is part of a series of illustrations for my portfolio (the other 2 are already online). I'm attempting to show consistency in style and character.

@Tyson @Joy-Heyer @mattramsey Thanks so much for your kind comments! To answer Tyson and Joy's questions, I did the sketching and drawing traditionally, scanned it, and then created the image in Adobe Illustrator. Its entirely made with vectors (as are all the images in my portfolio) which is really nice from an enlargability standpoint. No pixelation ever! 🙂 I really enjoy my process but it is a bit weird and not for everyone.

I'd like to stay anonymous for now because I'm not quite ready to do anything for others but I would love to see the critique of this one. I did this before watching the Draw 50 Things challenge so I didn't have a plan. I just did it from my head, as I went, like we weren't supposed too 🙂 I don't really have anything else finished. But a few personal projects in the works. Thanks for the opportunity! You can critique this as hard as you like 🙂

@will-terry-art Hi Will my name is Tyson Ranes you are welcome to use this image. Like I said in an earlier post I have nothing to link to, intact this is my only social media at the moment. EDITED INFO ON CONCEPT: >> "This is an angry Pig named Pickles. He has a wood working shop that he can never seem to keep clean he has allot of baggage. This is him standing in his shops back door tired off at everything. He has never known his true family, he lives in a small town where everyone knows him as a grump until one day when his Dad walks into his shop then everything changes long and short of it pickles gets a new lease on life and now the towns people are cheered by his stunning reformation. - I wanted to do something that popped color comp wise and I liked this sketch I did so I figured I give it a go!"
                                  Thank you0_1489023509677_Pickles the Pig.jpg

@Joy-Heyer Hi, I was just looking at your spot and I know you were asking for Will's critique, but I just wanted to say, I think this would look really fun if some of the flying objects were actually coming out of your illustration shape. Like the green plate at the top--if that were shown whole, along with some other objects breaking over the edge you've created for your vignette, I think it would be really cool. As I said, take it or leave it since I know it's not my critique you're after. I just thought I'd mention 😉
