      Great project! The image is simple and catchy and I like the color scheme. I would suggest to change his expression though. At the moment I would describe it as "embarrassed". I think a happy, joyful expression may be more fitting. Maybe he could be reading the book and be enthusiast about it?

        I agree with @smceccarelli , open his mouth a little and change the direction of his eye brows and that would change his expression. Simple/quick fix.

                Definitely much better!! Tips for showing fragility in children (or any character) thin neck and narrow/slumped shoulders compared to the size of the head. Also, the lower the eyes are on the head, the younger a character looks.

                        Hey, here is another pic from this series. This boy is from orphanage, where we also will be giving the charity books away. What do you think?
