Transportation WIP help

Hey all! I was hoping to get some feedback on my Transportation illustration.
The one thing in particular that I'm questioning is that the beam from the duck's head is leaving and returning to the page...should I tilt his down so it doesn't go towards the edge?
Any feed back is greatly appreciated. Thanks for the help!

Yes, bring the main duck's head down a bit, and lower him more to the bottom edge, but I think the best thing you can do is make the beams straight. I looks odd having them curved.

I agree with @tombarrettillo ...I thought the airplane was bouncing off the duck lol

This is really FUN! I absolutely like your concept. You could increase the contrast for the duck which is at the fore front and probably make the background brighter as it goes further.
