Transportation WIP

Hi Everyone,
Here is my idea for the monthly contest. I was just thinking that books and stories transport us to different places when we read them.
Critiques welcome.

@mallette that is a great take on the prompt. Maybe add a few more elements of kids stories in there as well.

@chip-valecek Thanks! I think I want to expand the image more too, it might be getting a bit crowded? It's 8.5x11 right now. When is the deadline for this contest?

This is a really cool concept, but at the moment, each piece seems relatively evenly spaced. I think one thing that could improve it, would be to take each piece, and make them spiral downward into the eye of the vortex more like a chain. If each of those items connected the girl to the eye of the vortex then it would add a strong dynamic element to the piece! Love the style!
