Clever girls

Lineup for this week's Instagram posts. Too much texture? Any feedback, as usual, welcome!!
-
@smceccarelli That's wicked!
-
LOVE these!! I like the texture, especially against the backgrounds. Awesome work!

These are really great, and I think the texture is just fine! The only thing I see is the green at the bottom of the skirt on the girl with the power cord. The green there looks a little out of place, but I almost didn't even notice it.

@smceccarelli These look good to me - I do have a super nit picky (annoying?)bit of feedback though - the young scientist with the two ends of power cords in her hands is holding the cords by the wires and not by the plug ends - so it looks like she will run into trouble with her plugging technique.....I think having the hands just right might be important because we are guided to that area by the girl’s gaze so it really feels like the focal point - maybe just a thumb behind and a finger or two in front of the plug ends would be all you need - of course these look great as is so feel free to ignore

@smceccarelli For the middle one, I kinda want the plane to be a little bit bigger (I thought it was a tissue at first glance). Other than that, love them...especially the pink light reflection on the floor as well as how the middle girl is placed in the middle trajectory diagram. Texture is spot on.

@smceccarelli Amazing work. Beautiful colour palette. I love the girl with black curly hair!
-
That's so cool!!! Are they based on real scientists?
-
@ben-migliore Not really, though I was thinking about Marie Curie by the first one (maybe that´s why I made her blond!).
-
@smceccarelli Still really cool
-
Love! I see no problems.

@smceccarelli The texture is great! This makes me want to start using oil or chalk pastel! Really nice work.
My only real critique would be piggy-backing off of some other comments. The hand holding the test tube in the first one seems wrong. It should be holing from the top, not the bottom, as your wrist would turn "down" to pour, then back up to stop. In the current position, you'd have to really wrench your wrist awkwardly to stop pouring.
I agree with @Laurel-Aylesworth that the space shuttle in the middle one could be a bit bigger. And I also agree with @Kevin-Longueil that the hands of the last girl should either be holding the plugs themselves, or gripping the cord right behind the plug (hands butted right up against them).
I want prints of these for my daughter's room!

Thank you all! I will make some of the changes suggested before posting on Wednesday!
-
@smceccarelli Great work! I love these and your work is really getting better and better! I agree with many of the other comments in this thread about the hands. These little details are the difference for leveling up to pro and I know you got this. I'm sure you didn't need me to do a draw over but I did so others could see. I also agree with having the girl on the right holding onto the plugs.

Thank you @Will-Terry, this is fabulous! You spared me a reference hunt I am in a really weird phase where it seems I am learning something new with every piece - quite exciting. Maybe it’s the right time to re-watch all the course as well!

@smceccarelli Well you're fast becoming a rock star - don't stop!
