Kraken + Draw 50 things! All in one?

Hey there
I would be very happy about some critique of my artwork for both challenges.Can you recognize 50 things or do i need more?
Is the Octopus the focal point of the picture?
What else can I improve, for example regarding lighting, colors or textures?I'm happy about every feedback!

This is really great. The attention to detail and use of color are amazing. I hope you don't mind, but I thought what if this piece had a little more punch of color, and brought up the brightness a bit. Also, there is a lot going on in this, what if some areas were blurred out to bring the focal point to the characters interacting. Just a few thoughts. Again, this is really amazing, love it!

@mathewgrubb Since this piece is for the "Draw fifty things challenge" I don't think that blurring out the objects is appropriate

@johanna Looking great. The situation reads well and the greens and reds make the octopus a good focal point. I do second what @mathewgrubb mentioned about making those colors punch a bit more, but I wouldn't just push everything. It might help to add some more light to where the sun is hitting, especially around the van, but only a little bit and also you might try to give those shadows a bit more depth. (i'm not sure if your cast shadow on the sign by the bear's head is correct and there are a few other cast shadows that may need to be fixed to be consistent with the lighting.)
Also as mentioned I wouldn't blur anything due to the nature of the draw 50 things challenge, and it looks good as it is. Most of what I said is just nitpicking as it looks great but could be pushed a little more

Thank you both very much. Yess, i agree, the blurring out could be nice, but then you can´t recognize the things anymore.
Great idea with the colors and some more intense lighting, I will totally improve this!

So i tried to push the light and contrast in this. I'm not sure, is it too much now?
Already postet in in the contest thread but maybe i can repost it if you think it got worse
