Brand new website!

@concept Thank you Nathan! It's really nice of you to offer more specific feedback!
The main purpose is to be a professional looking portfolio I can link to art directors and agent when hitting them up. I was previously using an Adobe portfolio, and prior to that I actually did my fist round of mailing using a deviantart portfolio... Really wasn't doing it for me!
I have a secondary purpose of selling art through a store on the site that I'm working on right now. I actually used to have a print store on Etsy called Ulysses Design where I sold nursery prints, but I closed it recently because I was looking to rethink my collections, re-brand it and more importantly, tie all of it together to my website in one cohesive package. My website is Ness Illustration and my shop will be rebranded as SweetNess.

@eli Thank you Eli! I have to admit I'm bursting with pride that I set out to do something and managed it by learning new skills!
It ended up being not that complicated once I figured out a few specific hurdles, and it also didn't cost me much money O__O I'd love to share what I've learned on the way, if anyone would like to know how to do it! -

Congratulations, that´s a major achievement!! I also set up mine in wordpress years ago, but I got help to do that - I was totally lost!
Kudos to you for taking the challenge and doing a great job.
I love your branding/logo and „Sweetness“ is both a cool brand idea and ties in beautifully between shop and website.
Is it possible that there is a mistake in the quote that you put on the page? It seems to be missing a part of the sentence to make sense, somehow.
The structure looks ok to me as a start. You`ll probably change the structure as your content and your business evolves anyhow.
