Hello. New to the forums here (but an old illustrator :). Trying to level up my artwork starting with character development. This is my first one. Any feedback is welcome. Thank you.

welcome to forum! 🙂 your character is cute 🙂 however on the first view, her arms seems to be too far back. On the second view feet are the same size, but left one should be bigger cause its closer. 3rd one is great

          Awww she's so cute!!
That's such a good start! Your drawing skills are strong, but on design there's something you should keep in mind that'll help you make more interesting characters. Her proportions are all the same, which makes the design lack variety. You can add interest by varying the shapes and proportions!

          Here's what I mean:

(this is just an example of varied proportions, but of course it doesn't have to go exactly THAT way! There's an infinite amount of combinations of shapes you could do here!)

Here is the revised edition of the character. I changed her proportions but kept the overall shapes I had. The differences are subtle but I do believe they helped me bring her closer to what I originally envisioned. Thanks again for the feedback.0_1538430806129_Naomicharacterlr.jpg
