SVS does Inktober Part 2, days 11-20

Day 16. Light and build.
The strange looking figure looked up from his book and saw Wilbur. “Ah!” the figure exclaimed with a squeaky voice. “A visitor! And right on time! You see, I am going to try to #build an contraption to get all of those boxes up on the dry. My name is professor Eliah. Please come here and help me out.”
Wilbur climbed on to the rocky plateau where professor Eliah stood and scratched his head. After a few hours of building a contraption, he could help the professor with hauling all the boxes that he collected on his raft, on to the island.
In the meanwhile the professor had opened a small cabinet attached to the wall and a bunch of electrical wires spilled out of it. “No!” The professor yelled. “ Not good at all!”

Professor Eliah looked at all the wires hanging loose within the box. He scratched the back of this head and felt a #swollen bump. Not paying any more attention to the bump, Wilbur could hear him muttering. “How on all the four moons can I #connect all these before...”
Not having time to finish what he was saying, Whale Nor let out a deep sigh, the lights started to flicker and Nor sounded as if he had to make a huge burp. The pipes started hissing and bellowing smoke as if they were about to explode any moment.
The whole interior of Nor the whale started to chatter. The sound booming out over the sound of Wilbur’s chattering teeth. Wilbur crouched down low on the ground with his long ears between his knees. He closed his eyes tightly and put his arms over his head.

@missmushy Thanks! That's good feedback, I was wondering if I should take more care to erase and clean things up, but decided in the end to just leave it. I do enjoy seeing the process come through.

@james_boyle thanks! I use just an ink wash for all the tones, which is fun to learn, but can sometimes just turn into a muddy mess :0

@james_boyle definitely in a slump. Ran out my stockpile of thumbnails a few days back so now frantically trying to come up with ideas. Yikes! But not going to give up!

17 - swollen. Some kinda weird swollen hydrogen melon. Absolutely NO torches allowed near the field.
