Either you can add link to you hosted image 'Link' or 'Picture' buttons or you can upload one by using last two icons 'Upload Image' or 'Upload File'.

To add an image when making a post or replying to a comment click the last icon in the row (the one with an arrow lifting off the black bar) then choose your file.
To submit your image to the contest go to the "OCTOBER COMPETITION TOPIC: MISUNDERSTOOD MONSTER" thread and post your image there. You may have to reduce the size for it to be uploaded.
