Hey I'm Phil

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forums and I recently subscribed to SVSLearn and I'm doing some of the courses at the moment. I found SVS through Spotify as I searched for a new podcast before Christmas and started listening to the 3 Point Perspective podcast and found it a great resource.

I'm Phil, I'm a 38 year old illustrator based in Dublin, Ireland. I've been making illustrations since 2006/07 but I've never been able to make it a full time position - it's always been a goal of mine. I've had a few freelance jobs here and there over the last 12 years but things have really dried up in the last few years. I've kinda got lost and stopped learning so with the new year I decided to make some changes.

I've been jumping in-between styles (a weird graphic style, then a more pencilled style) and I'm not entirely sure what direction to go in. I'd like to learn to make stronger imagery and have a greater sense of narrative to my art.

You've got a really interesting style, very graphic. Somehow I feel like it would really suit T-shirt designs! I don't know if it's something that you've ever considered, but it could be an avenue for you! I mean if you put that tiger on a women's V-neck I'd be the first in line to get one haha
