Eleventh hour entry... Cinderella (not the dress part of the story--although that would be really, really fun to draw, but the moment when the prince realizes he's just as excited to see the cinder girl as he is the princess).

I'm probably past the deadline but I wasn't going to post this at all, my first finished photoshop painting, nothing great but then I remembered the "FINISHED NOT PERFECT" slogan this morning and thought I'd post even if I'm too late
The contest really pushed me to keep going and keep learning so I'll do the same again this month for March!

WOW everyone! Tons of submissions this month. It is probably one of highest submission amounts. I am working on resizing them all and getting the slideshow put together, stay tuned later this afternoon for the slideshow!

I know the contest is now closed but wanted to share with you my work. I really liked seeing all your interpretation of love (very tender for some of them). That was not an easy theme!
To tell the truth, I had developed a nice concept idea involving a knight and a cheerful cherub but didn't find the time to take it to the next step.
Instead, while sitting at my kitchen table this weekend trying to go on with another project, I came up with this bitter-sweet image of love when love becomes off balance and when one of the lovers realizes s/he doesn't weight much for the other. Less optimistic than everyone else's work, it is another expression of love I suppose.
