30 Day challenge - monsters, robots and aliens
-
@peteolczyk That's so cute! I was just mentioning to @Heather-Bouteneff yesterday I had an idea to do a few experiments with the characters with a child, maybe like they are their imaginary friends, maybe your little boy would like those illustrations. Next months project. :smiling_face_with_open_mouth_smiling_eyes:

Day 026. These digital watercolour brushes are the most unpredictable brushes which give you fun surprises. It's been a good experiment so far. -
@Judy-Elizabeth-Wilson these would be amazing on a duvet cover omg, if you ever do that please let me know. I love the idea of my kiddo's first non crib bed being covered in these little imaginings
-
@Judy-Elizabeth-Wilson We will cheer you on! You can do this!
-
Day027. Dog walkies! . -
@Judy-Elizabeth-Wilson These are so sweet! Totally not what I was expecting when I seen the topic conversation, I was expecting sci-fi and it was such a lovely surprise! They're really lovely characters and totally agree where I read above suggesting you should try licensing! Keep going, can't wait to see more
-
@Judy-Elizabeth-Wilson These are great! (my daughter Loves your coloring book by the way!) Do you think you will make another?
-
Youโre getting really good with colors. Great job!

@Kevin-Longueil Hey Kevin. Reading your little girl loves Tiger has made my day!! Thanks so much for letting me know and thanks for getting a copy. I appreciate it. Yes, I am making a sequel to this book with illustrations for the very young with simple Little Tiger colouring in pictures. From experience of seeing the print of the last book, the lines will look better vectorized so I will have a go at that. I usually work in PS so Illustrator will be a new thing to learn. I have the front cover ready and the illustrations are started so hopefully looking at having this one done for sometime in the summer.
.
Also if your daughter would like she can post her colored illustrations to a page on Instagram to share with people who are also colouring in the little book. It's with this #littletigerandfriends [link text]https://www.instagram.com/littletigerandfriends/(link url) -
@Heather-Bouteneff Thanks Heather. I certainly will let you know. I love the idea to start up some business in Licensing!
-
@nyrrylcadiz Thank you! Yes, it's been a good experiment.
-
@ShannonB Thanks Shannon. Haha, yes, the topic could be anything, I ended up doing cute aliens and monsters, the robots can wait untill another 30 day project. It was a good place to start. Yes, I am looking into licensing and how to create files to send to manufacturers. Let's see where this goes.

Day029 Bubblegum colours -
030/030 An excited alien on a planet of planets. Mission accomplished. 30 cute aliens and monsters. Also learnt some new tricks with the digital brushes. Thanks for all your comments! -
Thanks again for everyones comments. It's time to create my first pattern collection with these characters and background as a starting point, throughout April, and I will share the fun stuff I come up with. I'm aiming to create patterns for children's fabric like these guys suggested! @Heather-Bouteneff @ShannonB @Lydia-M and @Whitney-Simms
-
@Judy-Elizabeth-Wilson YYYYEEEEESSSSSSS! I love it! So so so so much! Create a multi monster pattern too. With ones that have a similar color scheme. Oh, the cuteness of the hobo (drawstring) sacks will be more than i can handle. I didnโt notice the thicker lines coloring book. That is a great idea too. Itโs a little too tiny for my youngest. The older kids like the details of the first. Rifle and co, has ked shoes with their prints. Your prints on sneakers would be the cutest thing in the universe Iโm sure!

I've been scrolling through your updates on these since you started them but never posted. I must say I'm blown away - the colours are amazing and you've got some lovely pattern styles going on here.
Your consistency and your dedication to this too has really inspired me.
Any tips for us users on motivating yourself during such a challenge?
