I love these! I'm going to cross my fingers for a spotted salamander in the 100, I love their little toes. The attention to detail for their outfits is really amazing
-
@Heather-Bouteneff ill see what i can do
-
Crockoknight! Did you know there are certain species of crocs in northern Ghana that are docile and friendly? I was very entertained by this fact

I'm collecting strange animal facts for a series of illustrations I'm doing for my niece. I'm adding this to my list.

@demotlj aw that’s cute you should design it as a picture book for kids.
Paga i think is the name of the place
There’s allegedly a species of Nile alligators or crocs that used to be domesticated because of their timid nature. I have yet to find verify this but rest assured i will.
-
@Heather-Bouteneff ok here is the salamander you requested
-
@Aleksey yes!! Monkmander I love it!!
-
Lizardkid! Idk what i was doing with the design but it was fun to mess with. Yes thats a silly helmet.

Number 9! Going back to my brushpen on toned paper, gonna try the white color pencil thing it looked like fun.
-
Updated the last one with some highlights and more hatching. Loving toned paper!
-
Sometimes you just wanna have fun
-
Annd number 11 (apparently)
-
Number 12. I wanted to do a warhammer and redo the croc so heres the updated one
-
Number 13! I think I could have done a better pose. But dang this toned paper is really rough. I don’t think I’ll be purchasing this sketchbook again. When I erased some pencil, some paper came off too!
-
I'm loving these! So much variety and personality in each!
-
@Kasey-Snow thanks kasey
i feel like im learning as I do more of these
-
14!
-
@Aleksey These characters are really cool. And they each have their own personality and pose. I really like the campfire scene #11, and #14's noble pose and outfit makes me think of a samurai.

@Johanna-Kim thanks! Number 14 is from a reference i used. Ancient Rus/Mongolian/Tatar
