Day 9: California Sheepshead

Okay, this one is definitely not a finished product but I wanted to get something up. I am still sick and getting ready to travel tomorow so I decided to stop here and just post as is. You can see I was trying t use the robo bean underneath. Next posts for awhile will probably be quick ink doodles just because I will be in a car and or hotel and hopefully having all kinds of fun out and about with my grandson and daughter!

@KC I'm a newbie so maybe take my advice with a pinch of salt but I feel like the emphasis should be more on the fish's expression. At the moment, the star fish is so saturated that all my attention goes to that first. Maybe desaturate the starfish a bit and saturate the fish's head a bit more?

I really like it though. It's really sweet

@KC This is super cute. One thing that would help would be to lose the "elbow" on the jellyfish, instead, let it hang loose in a curve so that it doesn't feel rigid. I am a little curious about the story? why is a fish wearing a diving suit?

@ShannonBiondi Thanks! You're right. I wanted more color, but it is distracting.

@andersoncarman Thanks! I'll fix that and it's a great suggestion.
As for the story- it was supposed to be a mermaid robot, but I didn't feel a human face was working. Maybe I should re-work that area all together.

@KC What is confusing to me is specifically why would it have a helmet if it can breathe underwater?
