I keep hearing that technical skill isn't the ultimate key to getting seen or hired, the ability to tell a story or evoke an emotion can get you far.
I've followed, The Oatmeal, for a long time, and have had many laughs.

HAHAHA! That is too funny! Wow, and he has been doing this for almost 10 years! Its amazing what can happen when one fallows their dreams and just keeps at it. Super encouraging.
