Nightmare Link- Fanart
-
Hello forum people!
My name is Jorge Valentin, I just recently joined the forums. I actually took the SVS painting classes years ago, I think when they first launched. Learned a ton from them when I first started getting more serious about art.
This piece I just recently called it done. It's one those that I went a lot of back and forth. I always struggle with the values when I go to dark on the scale. Hoping when I get into the printing it doesn't look terrible. Anyways I'm a big Legend of Zelda nerd, been playing them since I was a little kid. I always loved the creepyness side of the game. I figure I make my own version of it and have it on my wall.

This is really cool! I love what you did with Link, to bring him into the realm of nightmares! Well done and welcome to the group

@Jorge-Valentin I think it looks awesome. It has a Tim Burton feel to it. Maybe it's the swirl in the back or the just the theme of it, but its really cool. Well done.

@Jorge-Valentin Damn! I always forget that the Legend of Zelda can be super creepy (Ocarina of Time skeletons always gave me the willies).
This is on a bit of a different level of awesomeness, though
I get the feeling that the new switch game's gonna give you all kinds of ammunition for this kind of fanart.
Very cool stuff!

@ShannonBiondi Aw, thanks a lot. Thank you for the welcome. It's been a while since I joined a forum.

@Chip-Valecek Thanks man, I really had my doubts about it. I had a solid start and around the middle, I felt I was losing it. Yeah, I definitely went with the Tim Burton aesthetics, hence the swirl, nice catch!
@Braden-Hallett Lol, I definitely can't wait for that release. I'm keeping my fingers cross on a Majora's Mask remake.
I creep over your stuff on IG, I love your work dude, right up my alley. Keep 'em coming!@Nathan Yeah man me too! I freaked out when I saw that announcement.
