@MattBaker I just love the atmosphere you've created here, the light coming through that tree is beautiful!

@hannahmccaffery Thank you! I realise now that I have some conflict happening with light direction and cast shadows, whoops.

Hi! I'm new here πŸ™‚ I've just finished the second variation of an environment concept for this world. Here are two different worlds of a city and a forest that were suddenly mashed up, just united in one single moment. I'm open to any advice 😊

I’m wanting to work up a picture book portfolio and thought I’d do a simple illustration. Or so I thought until I tried drawing eyes on my little pup. Hmmm, that’s what eye patches are for, right? LOL I’ll try to fix it but maybe a pirate costume could be fun and keep the image from being too generic.

@Daria-Khil It's a truly engaging piece to look at. I enjoy your use of warm and cool colors to push things back and pull things forward. Welcome btw! I'm kinda new here too.

@Braden-Hallett Outstanding stuff! I'm a big fan of all the work that I've seen of yours. Not going to lie, it's super intimidating, but inspirational just the same. I dig seeing your process as well.

I am trying to understand texture brushes better (using Procreate) and was doodling a character to play around with and this came out. I realized after I was done, however, that another thing I need to work on is understanding shadow shapes better. My shadows are always just generalized blobs.

I want to put this dino into some grass but he's hiding in plain sight for the moment. lols I was practising block building structure and then some shading and shadows. He was from my head so I am quite happy. πŸ™‚

@Heather-Boyd some great form on the dino πŸ˜ƒ

I dusted clip studio off the for the first time in a few months. Trying to get away from the digital look. Digital takes longer than I thought...

Okay you guys!! A few months ago I shared some concept art with you about the possibility of painting a street piano. I submitted two concepts and both were chosen!! I was able to paint one on my own, (the unicorn) and the other I taught a group young artist about the piano painting process (All through a local art group that focuses on offering free art classes for kids in the area. We had a group of about 4 students come and help with the monster piano.)

Anyway I've been busy the last few months working on these and wanted to share with you the final outcome.
