That’s really nice of you to say about my line work because I struggle with it a lot! Sketch lines are easier than finished rendered lines. I feel I won’t get as strong as Braden -his lines are amazing. Or sketchy lines don’t have a place or value as finished rendered ones do.

I really appreciate your comment and no worries about seeing my posts at a later date.

                            🙂 Have a goodnight.

@Heather-Boyd I think you are selling yourself short, your line work looks really solid, and it brings so much character and tone to the structures you are drawing. I am working on my subjective right now and I have the opposite problem, my line work is too stiff and really lacks character. I have actually redrawn almost all my line work while rendering, and it looks so much better when I loosen up. I looked at yours last night and thought - that is what I need to be doing! I think it all comes together eventually though, there is just so much to think about from line and shape to colour and style, it’s hard to get it all at once. After my subjective is finished, I have decided to focus on smaller pieces for awhile so I can start to focus on building these individual skills. It’s really helping me to see everyone’s posts and progress, so thanks for sharing!
