I'm an avid Adobe AND Procreate user.... sometimes I get so confused as to what to use for my work! :smiling_face_with_open_mouth_cold_sweat:

I'm incredibly stoked for this update!
The fact that it will do CMYK and it looks like brushes will have their own pressure curves and color dynamics (more pressure creates a different color!!!) means that it's getting much much closer to Photoshop.
The Procreate website says it's also improving their selection tool (which was already pretty good to begin with) and their transform tool (which honestly needed work as the transformed selections always ended up significantly pixelated).
A clone tool, and more animation tools just makes it even that much better.
I'm willing to bet it will come out shortly after the new iPadOS, which is supposed to be released in September, so we'll see...

@MissMushy ohh nice thanks for sharing

@Coreyartus I thought I read somewhere that maybe November for release? But I could be wrong. Canβt wait!

@MissMushy You may be right. Who knows?

This article goes through a bit more depth about the changes coming.

Apparently the new update is here!

I'm updating my iPad to iOS 13.2 so I can update Procreate
Very excited!

Very exciting! Thanks for sharing.
One of the main things I miss about Photoshop when I work in Procreate, is that I can't apply clipping masks to groups. I hope this is something they update soon

Anyone else have anything significant they found in the new app?
The biggest thing I'm seeing is the speed of the brushes are WAY faster and more fluid. Aside from the quality of life changes and animation additions I've found I'm using it much the same way.
