@lou Hope you feel better now. Well done for your 31 sketches! Brilliant idea of using the prompts and halloween characters. I'll be watching to see how you get on. ✨ I have a long way to go to get my sketches ready. 🙃 Thanks, I was really pleased with this illustration and it's funny now I realise there arn't any shadows on the ground or characters. :smiling_face_with_open_mouth_closed_eyes:

It’s getting really hard not to post inktober spoilers

@Aleksey I know, right? I have already sketched out at least two prompts and mentally planned three more and I want to go ahead and ink them. Maybe I should while the excitement is there. But not post them. Do I have that much self control???

@chrisaakins the way i see it if you have the energy and drive to ink it now, do it, it’ll leave you open to do other work during inktober. And not feel rushed or overwhelmed.

@Aleksey true! Maybe I will. No need to be legalistic about it.

That would be my first Inktober but I can t do the prompts. I had plenty of awesome ideas but not the skills to put them on paper. It would take me a year going through them just for a decent result! 😅

So I plan to do it my way. I live in Sydney and Sydney has this immense, wonderful park in its heart. I am there every weekend gazing at the wildlife.
I will use Inktober to make my own map of the park paying tribute to it and the joy it brings to me. It is a challenge because I work long hours and have little time to draw and have never really ink anything big. This would be on A3 paper.

Wish me good luck! I tend to start many things and hardly finish them.

Meanwhile I am looking forward to see your ideas. If you follow the prompts, I would love to see a thread for each prompt gathering all your ideas separately for each day. I know most of you are on social medias and I follow many but not all. It will be easier to see the art from the forum!

                      Cheers

I'm planning on doing it again this year; last year didn't really work out, but I had a lot of fun thinking of ideas. I'll be working on 4x6 paper, following the antics of a toddler boy. I've been doing a much better job planning ahead and gathering reference material. I didn't use any reference at all before. * Facepalm *

Hopefully, I'll be able to sell some prints and originals from this project. Fingers crossed
