Finally got a good chunk of time to put into this - I feel like the composition is finally working? - thank you to everyone who gave feedback! A lot of work left to do especially on the Fox and Rabbit but i'm posting in case i've gone off the rails in some way that i'm not seeing with the composition - feedback is always very appreciated 🙂

@Kevin-Longueil I love it. He still looks a little exposed to the rabbit but maybe that is just my perception. I love your rendering of the trees and the style of your piece.

@chrisaakins Thank you Chris - i think you are right - To make the fox less exposed I'll have to add a bit more to the trees, put the rabbit farther back in the composition, or try to do it with lighting (maybe lighting is the best choice?) - i will work on this today - thanks again!

@Kevin-Longueil I think you could do it either with more branches on the tree separating them, or with lighting. But I rather like this piece without much lighting (the style seems so nice and textured, almost like a woodcut), so I tend to prefer the tree idea.

                I also agree with @demotlj! 😊

@LauraA Thank you Laura! It is great to get your take on this - rendering the lighting definitely felt wrong and i felt i was ruining the style of the image with it just as you predicted! - I am going with bringing the fox and tree a bit closer to the viewer instead of pushing the rabbit back (he is so small already) and moving the tree a tiny bit to the right and the fox a tiny bit to the left - still a bit exposed but looking better...Thank you again for your kind words and feedback 🙂
