Super attractive overall. Well done! My only critique would be to perhaps curve that ellipse on the bottom of the lamp shade a little more as it's well below the horizon line (judging by the perspective of the rest of the objects) It will not only give it more consistency in perspective, but it will also give a slighting more pronounced silhouette.

Nicely done. I haven't taken this course. Would you recommend it?

I also really like it, especially that it seems to tell a story the only thing I would add is a little detail on the tabletop. I honestly thought you were going to do the same kind of gift wrap design on the desk haha. No this is just fine as it is jake parker does say they dont need to look a like in order to live in the same universe. Good job

@Juli Thank you! I had a really hard time with this because I am always trying to put a story in everything I draw...and with just a table, lamp, cup, and scroll, there isn't a lot of story. The whole time I was working on it, I felt like something was missing.
