showcasing our process week 2!

AAAAAAAAAH that was awesome! Thanks @ArtofAleksey for doing that showcase
-
Agreed, thank you @ArtofAleksey! I may be following up with procreate questions in the future, if that's cool.
-
Yeah no problem! You’re all totally welcome. If you have questions throw them my way for sure.

Hi @Braden-Hallett and @ArtofAleksey, sorry couldn’t make this one! I don’t have FB either. Is there a replay I can I watch? Perhaps an unlisted YouTube video replay with private link?
-
@Jeremy-Ross No worries! It'll be on youtube soon and I'll post the link.
Yesterday was filled with much pruning of fruit trees and my fingers were unwilling to do computey things
-
@Braden-Hallett I’m patiently waiting for the replay too
BUT fruit trees are important. You’re soooo lucky to have fruit trees! (We get apples and cherries but that’s about it and not till the fall). We’re currently still buried in snow in NL.
no bugs tho lol.
Looking forward to the replay so I can learn some wizardry ! -
@Braden-Hallett This is such a great thing you've started! I haven't been able to attend either sessions live because of the timezone but I look forward to the recordings! I pretty much only use Procreate now so really excited to see this (no pressure haha).

Unedited in all its posted to the wrong thread and unsure how to change the timestamp in the posted link glory

@Braden-Hallett thank you
. Mucho appreciated! Gonna watch and take notes
-
Hi @ArtofAleksey, just watched the replay and wanted to say thank you and great job! I love procreate and enjoyed your wizardry.
-
@Jeremy-Ross oh yeah no problem! Let me know if you have questions or anything.

Thank you guys for doing these vids! At around the one hour and eleven minute mark in this showcase (#2) there were questions about flattening blend layers in procreate. The question came up about exporting certain blend layers to PS and someone else mentioned they couldn't merge blend layers such as multiply in Procreate without it losing or changing the effect. While I don't know how help as far as the export issue I do have one work around to the flattening problem in Procreate.
Merge layers starting from the bottom working up. I do only two at time to make sure I'm not accidentally losing something by merging multiple layers and so I know which specific layers are involved if I do mess up. When you get to the blend layer turn it into a clipping mask to the merged layer below and then it should merge without losing the effect. Theoretically you could do that with only the affected layers if you didn't want to flatten the whole image. That has so far worked for me in my process when I'm ready to flatten. Hope that helps someone.

@Jon-Anderson cool thanks for the tip!

@Jon-Anderson Thank you. I have been struggling with this for a couple of years. This will really help.
