Jump Into The Studio!
-
@LisaF Thanks, and yes, I got the email correction this morning!
I agree with the others who suggested varying times. It's 10pm for me too, and while I am often still awake (nominally), that is the hour when I am trying hard to wind down because I tend to get insomnia. I am wearing glasses in the evening due to spring allergies, and between putting them on so I can see the screen and taking them off every 30 seconds to read the chat, and trying to hold the computer open enough in my lap to see it up close but having it slide down my lap because I can't sit at my desk anymore...oh, yes, it seems like such a silly complaint when there is so much else going on, but you get the idea! It just means I really value being able to participate despite the resulting sensation of carsickness
, and we even have people who are getting up in the middle of the night to do so! Which means we really love the sessions!!!
And yes, the SCBWI thing too.

@LisaF Did you send the emails with the link already? I haven't one. BR

Are recordings available to subscribers if we can't attend the live session?
-
@LisaF Hi Lisa. I haven't received the email with the link either yet.

@StudioLooong @nadyart @Julia Hi! What timing!

Just a reminder, we'll be getting started soon!

Unfortunately I missed it, gorgeous day and had to get my kids out hiking! Will catch the replay for sure!
-
Hi all! Just fyi, we are taking a little break this week from the live studio series. Next Thursday, May 14 is our regularly scheduled Critique Arena. Then we'll pick back up again with the live studio series on May 21
In the meantime, if you missed any of the previous live sessions, now is a good time to get caught up! All the sessions have been added, including @davidhohn's. You can find 'em here. Enjoy!

@LisaF Hi Lisa. Not sure if you've sent out the email already but I haven't received the zoom invite for the live demo with Vesper Stamper scheduled for later today. TIA!
-
@Neha-Rawat Hi there! I emailed you
-
Hi everyone! We are hanging out with Vesper Stamper today!
She'll be sharing her process with an Alice and Wonderland piece, and talking about her upcoming illustrated YA novel, A Cloud Of Outrageous Blue. It's a coming of age story set during the Great Plague of 1348, something we can all relate to given the current state of affairs.
We'll be getting started at 2PM MDT, check here for other time zones. @Lee-White and @Will-Terry will be there too!
See ya then!
-
@LisaF I didn't get the link either, can you send me the link as well?
-
@Chip-Valecek Hi! Consider it done!
-
@LisaF got it thanks!

I forgot to mention that you can also access the live event from your subscription, just search for this class in your student dashboard and click on it. It should automatically bring up a Zoom registration page (if all goes according to plan!). Just make sure to download the Zoom app on whatever device you are using first
