Hello friends!
This is my first time posting and my first time drawing a car! Woohoo!
I hope this whole quarantine business is treating you all well. It has sure shaken things up with my family and, in a way, it is extremely healing.
Stay safe, stay well!

Hi Guys!
Finally! I finished my illustration of isolation...even though this are difficult times, I think we can use this isolation to think, meditate, improve ourselves...be within us. BTW, I've seen amazing work so far and I'm excited to see the rest.SVS: ngrass

Hello! here is my entry for the May contest.
-
@Tom-Shannon love this. Pencil shading, colors, mood - spot on. And we can all empathize with that ghost
-
Hello everyone, this is my first post in the forum, first contest submission and first photoshop drawing. It's so nice to see such a supporting and uplifting community. I'm taking a few classes on SVSlearn and hope to engage more with the forum soon. Congrats everyone for the amazing job, it's so inspiring to see your drawings!

@Nyrryl-Cadiz Thanks very much!

There are many things good and bad about isolation, some important and some trivial.
-
Ok, enough tinkering with it. I think I'm ... done.

Can I ask how the top 16 are chosen? Are they just picked out by the judges (Will/Jake) or is it based on votes, etc?
-
@carrieannebrown they are picked by the judges. They choose based on how well the the piece fits the prompt, composition, rendering, and of course, what they like. The final winners are chosen by votes squared off against each other in a bracket ( like “The Sweet 16”.) That’s my understanding. I hope it helps.
-
@JennyJones yes, thank you! I was just wondering about whether upvotes made a difference or if it was solely down to the judges

Hi. A few times now, near the end of the month I’d be like: okay next prompt I will definitely participate - thinking my first entry here should be perfect, and I’d need that full month to finish. Note to self: stop whining, start shining. #finishednotperfect
Here’s my take on isolation - a blissful voluntary one.
