MAY CONTEST: ISOLATION
-
Here's my entry for the contest! Great learning experience! Congrats to everyone that submitted this month.
-
Thanks @KathrynAdebayo . . . Me too
-
First time forum poster, but a long-time forum reader. Here is my entry. There are so many great ideas for isolation
-
@Chip-Valecek Lovely work from so many!
-
-
@Janna-Gomez I wish I had a pantry like that
-
@Kim-Rosenlof this is as beautiful as it is heart breaking
-
@Cayleen Beautiful contrast. I really love your style.
-
@Kim-Rosenlof I love it. Beautiful
-
@miranda-hoover this took me a minute to figure out - very clever! I love it!
-
@carlianne me too!
-
@miranda-hoover great concept about nesting dolls
-
@JoshuaDages Thank you!
-
@Heather-Boyd I did a little bit of digging and searching, but I don't think I've found anything that looks similar in terms of subject... I'm super curious though Which one is it?
-
Not sure if it's too late... tried to post yesterday afternoon but wasn't a member of the forum yet. I enjoyed trying the challenge this month. So many great entries!
-
@miranda-hoover Love the concept and style of this one. Well done!
-
WOW! These are really great!! I know I say this every time, but I think the judges are gonna have a tough time picking the top 16 A big thank you to all who submitted! We'll be doing the next Critique Arena on Thursday, June 11. Be sure to save the date!

What fantastic entries there are this month. Here's my effort! I hope I'm not too late either. As usual I was having trouble reducing my file size from Procreate without losing image quality. I need to master this for next month! I now notice there are a few other space themed entries, apologies, but I am far too slow a worker to change my image at the last moment! I am not speedy!

@Janna-Gomez - I LOVE your picture, it is exactly how I feel at the moment!! So funny. The contrast between the chaos of the kids and the exhaustion of the Mom hiding in the closet is hilarious and so true to life! Well done!
-
@Lorna-H Thank you! Moms need breaks, especially when the kids are home and driving us crazy 24/7.
Your piece is really nice. I really like the texture of the moon. I definitely get the feeling of isolation from the astronaut as he longingly looks at Earth with a broken space vessel behind him. Well done!
