I live in the strange little pocket of the interior that should be getting little to no rain. We have cactuses (little ones, but still). Rain is strange and frightening! It's all... wet. Ick.

hey! i'm new to these forums! hello! i've been messing around with some textured brushes the last few days -- i've never felt like i've had a "style", so i'm trying to figure it out.

I, like others, have been struggling with a loss of creative juice so I have been mostly painting watercolors of birds but today I went more cartoony. Anything to try to get back into the swing of things. (They are rose-breasted grosbeaks.)

Done for a PB about a mama hen who finds herself mothering every egg she finds on her morning walks around the farmyard. Hoping it's out soon..all illustrations are finished. On to the next. My own this time..anyone one else have a hard time cracking the whip without someone else setting deadlines??!

I love the idea of this months prompt being like an assignment and though I’m not sure if I’ll get around to submitting something this idea that came to mind and I thought I would use it to help get out of an art funk (looks like I wasn’t alone) while trying to simplify my art.
