Thanks to Jake and Will for last night's Critique Arena. I liked the way they pulled out some pieces at the beginning to say why they didn't make it. Mine was one of the wishy-washy ones and I'm so glad they mentioned it...I wouldn't have even thought about the value aspect - I never work in b&w so this was news to me!

@Rachel-Horne same for me! I did the composition class last week and I wish Iād seen it before the deadline as it helped a lot to learn about contrast and being able to read the story from a distance!

Hi @Rachel-Horne, I saw yours too! Mine was smack in the middle of the semifinals.
Iām going to work some value studies and resubmit for the group to critique.
You should do the same!
