DECEMBER CONTEST: YETI
-
Happy Twixtmas everyone! Really enjoying the variety of Yeti designs! Here's mine...
-
@powsupermum Thanks! I love yours so much! Such a creative idea
-
Here's my first entry!! I'm not currently a member, so I'm not really sure how this will go. I love seeing everyone's entries so far! Great job, everybody!
-
Here is my entry for the Yeti contest!
-
Thanks again to everyone who commented on my sketches. Really enjoyed this one.

I'd like to introduce everyone to Benny Blizzard. He's a sophomore at Yeti High. He's a pretty good student, and a member of the school hockey team. He's not the biggest or strongest yeti on the team, but his coach loves his scrappy can-do attitude. He also likes playing video games for some down time. I imagine him for an animated kids show or comic strip. Hope you enjoy!

I've really enjoyed seeing everyone's entries! So many great ideas and amazing art!
Every big Yeti begins as a baby. Baby Yeti likes outdoor adventures, taking Yeti Dog for a "drag" and picking flowers for Mama Yeti.
Super sweet and loving, cuddly to the core!!!!!

@mrsdion this is a fun take! Very puppy inspired:) The kind of yeti I want to give a big hug to.
-
@Chris-Philpot ah this is cool. As a dad myself this strikes close to home. Cool design and the finished product looks great.
-
@franksandovalart this looks straight out of a children’s book! I love the colours and creativity:)
-
@DaveLeekArt Thank you! Yes, very much dog inspired!

This one was hard for me. I struggled a lot with getting it the way I wanted. Had a story in my head but could not get it to come across clearly. After watching al the fantastic entries pore in I almost gave up, thinking what´s the point? But remembered that learning and growing is the point and I pushed through and here it is. I am mostly happy that I didn´t give up this time. Good work everyone you terrify and inspire me
-
@DaveLeekArt Thanks so much! Yeah, my three daughters had nothing to do with the inspiration for this one. Love your Yeti design as well. Great work!
-
This is the first time I have done a character from so many angles. It was challenging, but a good experience. Mine is Grumpyeti. He is grumpy, but has a soft side hiding inside. I think there are so many clever takes on the Yeti for this contest. It is fun to see everyone's ideas.
-
@Chris-Philpot This turned out great! Really fun characters and story. It made me laugh. I can definitely see the dad and child relationship.
-
@Sara-Nilsson I think the dog-yeti is a fun idea! I laughed and felt like gagging at the yellow snow. Very funny!
-
@DaveLeekArt
ThanksI think your Yeti looks really cool too, reminds me of Jake Parkers art, very cool!
-
@Kim-Rosenlof I really enjoy looking at this design. The lines around the eyes and the way you decided to draw the mouth are cool. Great work:)
-
@Sara-Nilsson good on you for just completing the challenge and submitting. It’s not about comparing to others in here, it’s about growing and improving as an artist. Simply entering and following through on these critique arenas does just that for you. Happy you made it and joined the club this month:)

@Sara-Nilsson Love the playfulness of your Yeti! Adorable!
