I scrapped my first yeti idea, it just wasn't working. Decided to go with just a normal yeti, one who can pitch a mean snowball. My true goal with participation this month is just the experience of turning a character - I have no illusion that I'll make it into the top 16 with this pretty mundane character, which is fine. It's an exercise in itself to do it and finish. 🙂

Here's some sketches of the direction I'm going. I'm not terribly happy with the face on the sitting pose. But I'm not sure exactly what's wrong, so if anybody has any ideas about it, I'd appreciate hearing from you! (Edit: just figured out this morning that his posture is twisted. Making his legs face more forward seems to be helping to make the face fit better.)

Overall, does it look like all the same character to you? Actually, if you wonderful artists have any feedback, something you can see that can be improved or fixed, feel free to chime in.

      Thanks for looking!
