YETI HOME WIP: Akins

I was thinking traditional Tibetan architecture combined with Hobbit sensibility. I also added a little magic grow light for his potted plants because he lives above the tree line and not much will grow there without help. This is what I have so far as a sketch. What do ya think? Is the perspective believable? How’s the design and composition?

Love your direction so far!
Only suggestion I have is I would like to see the camera pulled back just a smidge so that you can include a little bit of the landscape to give a sense of the remote isolation in the Himalayan mountain range.

More details. I am liking it so far. I have to admit I am really pulling inspiration from @Braden-Hallett’s January sketchbook as far as stylistic choices. I am also trying to make this more painterly and only using lines when necessary.

@dafoota aww man! I didn't see that. Well...hmmm. I really like what I have so far. Honestly if I turned it, it would not be visible. It's tucked away to be hidden. Maybe I will just go with it.

You could move the door across the bridge and make the previous door section a window, fountain, zen garden or even erase it and make the house more dome like....Just suggestions. I hope you don't mind. Either way it is going to be dope.

@dafoota I think I am going to finish it as is and maybe do another 3/4 view and maybe put them together in a single “real estate” ad or something.

After watching the critique arena I decided I needed more character in my house. I changed up the lantern, added a back door to make it 3/4 view, and added a cute little snow leopard as a pet. Because you know, cuteness wins...

Was a little bummed my yeti didn’t make it in the Top 16, but live and learn right? Hopefully my yetis home has enough personality to make it in this time! @chrisaakins love the snow leopard kitty that’s been tossed out the back door
