2nd take on Fairy Traveler: Is it worth a go?

So I thought I would try a completely different take on style story etc. I am picturing an African based fairy tale culture. The style would be flat and rely on patterns and texture. Almost an Eric Carl feel. What do ya think? Should I give it a go? I am extremely limited on time but this guy only took me a little bit to do once I got the thumbnails out of the way.

Whoa!!! I love it. The worn out texture is nice. Kind of reminds me of my favorite book. Good stuff.
