Hi guys, would love to get some feed back on the inn for this months contest before I start on colour. I’m wondering about the balcony with the bath/osen? It’s a cat bath inn cause you know cats love the water and all 😉 . Was going for a ryokan meets fantasy .....?

Insta favorite. ❤ Catnip baths perhaps, for extra relaxation? 😛

@Isabel-Reyes-Feeney Hi. The shape of your inn is uber cute (reminds me of my cat when she sits lols). However, I find the balcony where the hot tub and kitties are in, to be heavy and would not be held up by the wood you have under them (also there aren't any a round the other side). Also the size of the front door is good but the door (that we don't see that would take the kitties out to the balcony would be too small on account of height of the grass wall). I apologies if these suggestions are nit picky. Other than those just watch out for tangents (the cube/jewel at the front where those cats x cross). I think it's cute and I'd love grass and moss to grow out of my walls. 🙂

@Isabel-Reyes-Feeney I had a similar reaction to @Heather-Boyd ; really love the shape, but I did feel like the weight of the water was too much for the wood supports. Maybe there could be a natural support like a giant tree stump or some rocks. Love the grass roof, too!

I looked at the supports as bamboo, which is 2-3 times stronger than wood, and if the platform was bamboo as well it would be rather light in comparison, so the majority of the weight would be the water. What if there were just a couple more supports?

The older the bamboo, the thicker, and stronger.

@Heather-Boyd Yeah I see that now, I didn’t think of that about the weight of the tub, thanks for spotting that out 😊
