In-Progress: Design a Fairy Tale Inn

I thought I'd show some in-progress work for this month's April art contest. This is my first entry. I usually do very rough pencils for the composition , and then most of my detail comes in the final line work. I also like to jump in and do some test coloring, just to get a feel for how it's going to look.

@David_Crabtree This is beautiful! I love combining unusual colors together, so I love the use of the teal and purple. It has a fantasy quality to it, especially combined with the gray. I can't wait to see more!
