This is Albert the Long-eared Jerboa. If you haven’t chosen an animal to draw yet, I suggest you choose one with more normal legs! Yikes, the anatomy was hard to figure out.

I grew up in Rhodesia after emigrating from England in the '60s, with my family. I based my furry fella on the Bush Baby we used to see in the bush all around our boarding school. We used to cal them Pookies, they were fun and mischievous -
